This policy covers the Media Factory operator app and its use of Google data. Media Factory is a private tool used by its operator to manage the operator's own websites.

Google data we access

With the operator's permission, Media Factory accesses the Google Search Console and Site Verification APIs for the Google account the operator connects:

• Search Console properties and sitemaps for the operator's sites
• Search performance data: pages, search queries, clicks, impressions and average position
• Domain verification tokens for the operator's sites
• An OAuth token that lets the app act for the connected account

How we use it

Google data is used only to add the operator's sites to Search Console, verify their domains, submit their sitemaps, and show search performance to the operator in the app.

We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except as needed to run these features or as required by law. We do not use it to train AI models.

Media Factory's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

Data is stored on a private server. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, and connections use HTTPS.

Retention and deletion

Search data is kept while the related site is managed in the app, and removed when that site is deleted. Encrypted backups are kept for up to six months.

You can withdraw access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
